[Execution]

Since the execution would take place in outdoor space of the whole factory section, besides, the red line would be a permanent mark on the surface of buildings and on the ground of the mill area, I submitted hereby an application to related department of the factory, which included an introduction to this project and its representation.

Might was it the moment for the administration to decide whether demolishing the mill area or not, the principals of the factory was afraid that Red Line would bring troubles, and it was not permitted. Afterwards I sent in another application with further interpretation, after negotiating lasting for more than a week, in association of persuasion of a friend of mine, Prof. Dr. Zhang Song, who is an expert of conservation planning for urban heritage and is also one of pioneers who appealed to protect this mill area, the principals of the factory eventually agreed to execution.

The execution began on Sept.26. It cost respectively one day and three days in measuring and drawing, in the afternoon on Sept.29, Red Line #2 was accomplished. At the same evening, the exhibit of Matchmaking at Suzhou Creek run by Eastlink Gallery opened.
